Weekly Report 2 – 12 October

Hello everyone…

Happy Friday πŸ™‚ I don’t know what day is it for you (meaning, when you are reading this post), but it is Friday for me and I am happy πŸ™‚

Another quick update on our test site:

First, the traffic screenshot from the last week:

The overall increase continues. 2 days ago was the best so far; 25 unique visitors and 32 page views.

Just remember, this website is less than 6 WEEKS old… I am not talking about the months or years… Just 6 weeks, and it is getting already 20 unique/day average… And it will go higher πŸ™‚

And the income for this week. Honestly I am not happy about the income level, yet. If this continues this way, I may need to tweak things a little… We will see in a couple of weeks. Here is the graph for this week:

What do you think about the process? Any suggestions? questions? Please let me know…

Until the next post, have a great day / week…

  1. Hi. Really enjoying your posts! Just a quick question, what exactly are you doing with the Pinterest accounts? Are you posting content? Sorry if I sound like an amateur I’ve just never really used Pinterest to gain traffic before. Thanks

    1. Hi, and thanks for your comment…

It is really fun to do this public experiment and report the improvements weekly πŸ™‚ For me, most part is like a ‘dejavu’. I have seen the similar growths in many sites before, and it is happening again. You will see pretty impressive numbers on this week’s update – in 3 days…

Going back to your question: I am re-pinning with the new Pinterest accounts. ‘re-pinning’ means, pinning already available pins in Pinterest – but while re-pinning, I am using my URL. So the traffic comes to me…

Please let me know if any more questions.

      1. Are you Re-pinning your own main account pins? or normal pinterest search result pins.

        1. My process can work(and works) with both ways; either you re-pin your own pins or normal Pinterest search result pins.

  2. Following up on your response to Giogio, you only have 5 articles in your site. There are high chances that you do not have content that matches the pins you are re-pinning. What happens to a click that arrives on your site only to find the content they clicked on is not there?

    1. Hi Jes;

Basically the Pinterest users are looking for content on a specific niche. If a pin related with ‘home decor’ sends the user to a site related with ‘parenting’, it won’t work. But as long as, the Pinterest pin image niche is same with the final destination site’s niche, there is no problem.

At least this is my experience, during last 2+ years… πŸ™‚
